RUF is group of students that love God and love God's call on our lives to Yale. We want to bring the thoughtfulness and study that is necessary in the classroom to our faith studying the Bible. We don't have all of the answers, and we don't have it all together, but we believe in One who does.
Spring Semester Bible Studies on Ephesians
Tuesdays 7:30pm in Vanderbilt, D51 Thursdays 7:30 pm in Pierson, Lower Courtyard 12
Plug into community at Yale through weekly Bible studies, social events, monthly large group meeting, and service projects. If you are a Christian or just someone seeking answers, you find that RUF engages the hard questions of faith by studying the Bible in community. All are welcome.
RUF believes that the church is an essential component to the Christian life. We are supported by Christ Presbyterian Church in New Haven but are open to all. We would love to help you find a church you can call home while at Yale.
There are many questions and assumptions about the Christian faith that often go unanswered or ignored. Non-Christians are frustrated that no one answers them, and Christians are often afraid to raise them. We think these are valid challenges to our faith and want to give thoughtful responses.
We confess that our faith and our internet surfing habits often make us hypocrites. The issues of the heart can not be addressed by a computer program, but it can make it help us avoid temptation. Safe Eyes is a company that can be set up to monitor internet viewing and even send reports to a trusted friend of your choice.
